plastic paper plate holders...you don't want anything smaller!  These plate holders will take a 8 7/8" or 9" paper plate. The weight of the food will hold the paper plate.
I also sell the flexible three tab style of plastic paper plate holders.
The three tab style secures the paper plate by slightly bending it under the tab and then it sits flat.  I personally like the plate holders with the tabs. The tab style of plate holder allows for easy preparation in advance of the party.  If you want them, please see my other auction.
The one thing to keep in mind when purchasing these plastic paper plate holders is that you can clean them. Unlike the natural fiber types, these will rinse right off.
Because these are a dark plastic material, it is
almost impossible to stain them
(You know what happens to the spatulas when mixing food or sauces).

Are these plate holders dishwasher safe?
T
hese are top rack dishwasher safe.  That means as long as they are not close to a heating element, they will be ok.  I always put the plastic items including Tupperware in the middle of the rack to keep them safe. Due to the various materials of the cups, plates, pots and pans, the temperature needed to dry the items needs to be high.  That is why almost all plastics such as Glad reusable, Tupperware, and these plate holders need to be away from the heating element that is used for heating your dishes.
Are these plate holders microwaveable safe?
A
s far as microwaveable safe: I tell everyone that they should test the plastic plate holders for set amount of time in their microwave starting with a low time of 20-30 seconds first.  The reason for that is that there are too many variables and power outputs of the microwaves.  Think of some of your Tupperware or glass and even ceramics how they become warm or even hot to the touch.

like fine china.  They are meant to add strength to your paper plates.  Remember that you are using paper plates to make clean up easier. If you are planning on loading them up with 10 pounds of food, then this is not what you want .
