    Description

    Adams & Company Square Panes/Post Covered Compote
    Up for your consideration is an antique covered compote made by Adams & Company. This piece is made in the Post a.k.a Square Panes pattern that was produced circa 1883. The compote stands 9" tall, and measures 4 1/2" square. Photo #9 shows a chip in the corner of the lid. Photo #6 shows a mark in the inside edge. I believe this was a popped air bubble that was polished out at the factory. There are a couple of fleabites in the feet.
