    Description

Antique Glass, Fine Cut and Panel, Early American Pattern Glass by Campbell Jones & Co. #260 Clear Goblet circa 1884, Set of 4
These antique goblets are very old. They are pressed glass with panels of fine cut. The pattern is number 260 and it is made by the Campbell Jones and Company glass company. There are no cracks or breaks. This pressed glass has many seam marks and at the top band seam, where it meets the pattern, there are some rough spots and/or very small nicks and chips. These are common for a glass of this age. There are many straw marks, Air bubbles, tool marks and nclusions in the glass. One glass has a very big portion of the bowl and the base that have some black flecks inside of the glass. See photo. Others have white in the glass. At the top rims there are tool marks and indentions as well as air bubbles and color swirls. Glasses hardly have any scratching. Looks like they may have sat on a shelf for the majority of their life. The pattern is beautiful. These glasses have a hint of sun purpling, which is a very light lavender tint from sun damage. Glasses are approximately 5.5 inches tall and they are approximately 3 inches wide in diameter at the top rim.
