I just purchased this Early American Pattern Glass creamer and covered sugar set from a local estate here in Central Virginia. The EAPG set was produced as part of the "Tree of Life" pattern which was done from the 1870's - 1890's by a number of companies (Boston & Sandwich, Portland, Duncan & U.S. Glass). The set has a silver plate mount signed "WEBSTER MFG CO", which was the name used prior to 1874. The mounts have a striking Aesthetic Period inspired design with embossed animals circling the the border and large grape leaves. The sugar measures 8 ¼" high at the finial and 5" wide (7 ½" at the handles), the creamer is 6 ½" high and 5 ¼" from spout to handle. The pieces are both in very good condition with the only issue being some pictured discoloration to the plate. Each is engraved "Boyle" in script. This handsome set would make a fine addition to your collection of 19th century / Aesthetic Period / Tree of Life glassware.

Returns are accepted in the case the item is significantly Not As Described in the ad text and pictures.
