    Description

From 1965 until 1988, these fine German horns (manufactured by Julius Keilworth) were distributed at various times by W. T. Armstrong and Conn.
They have quite a cult following today, and with good reason.
    T
heir unique geometry produces a saxophone sound that is unlike just about any other.  The bell and its flare are quite a bit larger than those of most other saxophones, and are characteristics that contribute to its unique tone.  It produces an incredibly full, bold, and beautiful sound.  It is also punchy, expressive, and capable of producing incredible dynamic contrast.
    The
Superba I has rolled tone holes while the Superba II does not and both models have a high F# key. This
saxophone was purchased new in 1978 by the current owner.  The serial number is 75032.
