Wonderful oak slat picnic basket with a hinged lid is tall enough to accommodate several bottles of your favorite beverages for getting out the house! Has a great vintage look. It is made of dry oak splints in a nice nutty brown, with one thin, red stripe at the top for pizzazz. Has double bentwood handles. Solid wood runners on base and thin plywood top with little knob handle. There is an wooden insert for the interior base. This basket is is very solid but has a few broken slats and some loss on the front, some darkening around nails in the top rim.
