This saxophone, made in
1945
and numbered
32011
, has a wonderful, colorful and robust sound. This
Beautiful Baby
still has much of it's
Original Silver Plating
. The horn has clearly been used but certainly not abused and the sound is large, vibrant and glorious.
There is a
patch on the neck
covering a split in the metal where it was folded over during production. In comparing this neck with all others we had access to we determined that this was by far the best one and so left it on the horn, patch and all.
The broad and lovely tonal palette combined with an ease of response makes this instrument a highly exciting horn to play, a
