and one 027 gauge track repair pliers. specifically designed to help repair O & 027  gauge track.
Over time tubular track
can
loosen, expand or separate easily when repetitively assembled and disassembled. Pins
can also
fall out over time.
What these pliers can do is tighten pins snugly and close the tubes down without deforming the
rails
.
These pliers (yellow stripe) will work well on Lionel, and other manufacturers of tubular O gauge track of the same diameter. The Red stripe pliers will work on 027.
For best results with 027 track reform track ends with pins inserted in ends.
See the second photo of how to apply the pliers to the track to reform. The second and third photos are the before and the last photo is the after.
This is showing reforming without the track pins but can be used to form track with pin also.
