    Description

    Hard to find a stately covered compote with not only a 'pattern' in the glass, but etching on the lid.  I wish I could tell you it is in mint condition, but there is 'one' of the bottom scallops that has a chip (see next to last photo)...there are 3 fern leaf etchings on the lid (see last photo).  Not sure of the era of the compote but it is 'very' old.
