    Description

    Yamaha YAS23 Saxophone- Vintage 70s-80s Japan Model.
    Great vintage made in Japan early numbered alto sax. All is complete and original, and was played for a brief time and set in a closest until now. The pads are in good shape and am unsure if there factory or have been replaced. This was a older family members and am leading to stock pads. The numbers pare 053548 A. The A is made in or for America, and the numbers are too low to tell if it was 1979 or 80.
    The sax has some minor lacquer ware and a dent at the bottom now. Easy and relatively cheap repairs. All the keys are functioning and complete.
    This is a rare early 23 and still has the fine craftsmanship and brass quality of that era.
